An industrial application requires proof
The future JALO exploration must establish which application truly adds value. Decisive factors include the customer's specifications, behaviour during storage and transport, emissions, dust formation, safety and total production costs.

Status of the development
Black pellets have been added to the JALO future agenda. There is no established technology, capacity, certification, commercial start date or sales price yet. The development stands apart from the 6 mm main product and the 8 mm residual pellets in the current Almelo plan.

Developing together with a customer
A concrete industrial heat or fuel demand forms a logical beginning. JALO can explore the performance criteria and a possible test programme with potential customers and technology partners. A follow-up requires a separate investment decision.
