Sources & project status

Clear about what is stated.

This website is based on the JALO investment memorandum and both addenda of 7 September 2026, supplemented with the future plans for hydrogen and black pellets and the investor information published on the previous JALO website.

01

The project plan as the substantive basis

Used are the JALO Investment Memorandum September 2026 v2, Addendum 1 ESG 2.0 / Your.Earth and Addendum 2 Organisation and Governance. These documents are company information, not independent verification of contracts, permits or project progress. The original confidential documents are not offered as public downloads.

02

Planning and status

The newer memorandum prevails where it deviates from older public JALO communication. Financial Close is targeted for Q4 2026; commercial production for Q1 2029. The figures on this website are design volumes and goals. A signed contract according to the memorandum has not been separately verified by this website.

03

Product and climate positioning

Nederpellets and landscape-positive pellets are the chosen brand positioning. A landscape contribution per bag, a granted ENplus label or a realised net-negative product footprint are not suggested. Substantiation and certification follow the progress of product and programme.

04

Future plans

Hydrogen and black pellets are explorations. The technology, investment size, capacity and delivery date have not yet been determined. The current plan already mentions possible future conversion to syngas, hydrogen and other bio-based molecules. Black pellets are included as an additional future direction.

05

Images and design

The plant visuals are artist impressions of the planned installation, not photos of a realised plant. The aerial landscape photo shows the Netherlands and is illustrative (Daria from TaskArmy.nl, CC0 1.0). The generic wood-pellet photo (D-Kuru / Wikimedia Commons, CC BY-SA 3.0 AT) is not a JALO product. The floating pellets, bark, tree and wind-turbine images come from JALO's own brand materials.

Technical background referenced on the future pages: U.S. Department of Energy (hydrogen from biomass gasification) and IEA Bioenergy (torrefaction and steam explosion). General technology information; this does not confirm a JALO installation, product performance or project decision.
